Both the DVR Manager on the web site (http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/) and the TV Remote app (on my iPad) have problems. I have seen the problems with the TV Remote app for months:
1) The app and web site list shows that I deleted, sometimes weeks or months ago
2) When I set programs to record, often they do not record.
3) TV Remote app: Sometimes I click on a program to ask it to record, and it says "syncing..." and never confirms that the program will be recorded.
The fact that both the web based DVR Manager and the TV Remote app have the same problems make me think the problem isn't in either, but instead in the DVR itself (or in Comcast's system for communicating with the DVR).
Is there a fix for this or a way to make things work more reliably?
