Beware when using the mover's edge program it's neither simple nor convient. We're moving to a new address in a few weeks, so I thought I would use the mover's edge tool online. I was offered a promotional rate for our current services so I thought wow this is great. I submitted my order online, never got a confirmation email. So today I decided to call into the mover's edge hotline. They confirmed that there was no pending move request on my account, but they would be happy to submit and would offer me any promotions. So I thought ok no big deal, after waiting on hold for nearly half an hour I'm informed I can only get promotions through them if I upgrade my service. But the helpful lady in mover's edge informs me that I can be transferred to retention to recieve the same offer online. So after a failed attempt to transfer to retention where I get dumped back into the main menu and have to hold for 15 minutes to talk to someone for 10 minutes to get transferred retention, the person in retention tells me the offers online are only available online and not by phone. After explaining the situation of mover's edge online not working, she just replied with well that's the way it works, many things are only offered online. Despite being not mentioned anywhere that the offer is available online only let alone the fact that the online tool doesn't work. After her unwillingness to offer the me the promotion I asked for a supervisor only to find out xfinity has a minimum 2 hour call back for a supervisor.
So if you're planning to use mover's edge, beware the online tool likely won't actually submit your order and once your tricked into calling in all offers are basically off the table. Blatant false advertising at it's finest.
