How come I cannot watch ESPN through my computer?
I log into my Xfinity account and click to watch live tv: http://xfinity.comcast.net/watch-live-tv/
On that page it tells me:
"Get the best live sports, news, kids programming and more online, wherever you are. Only XFINITY TV lets you enjoy the most live streaming all in one place.
It's free with your XFINITY TV subscription*.
You're signed in! Choose a network below and start watching live TV, now."
However when I click on ESPN (bringing me to http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/live/network/espn) I am told I need to subscribe to Comcast services to watch that network. A service that would apparently cost me an additional $40 a month.
I have two questions:
(1) Why does Comcast lie, and tell me I can watch ESPN on my comptuer when I cannot.
(2) Why does Comcast want to gouge its customers to watch a channel they are already paying an exorbitant price to watch on their televisions?
