I'm a Comcast internet customer for the past 10 years or so but I canceled my TV since 2010 and
I currently do NOT have a cable box nor do I want one as I prefer to watch TV on my desktop/laptop or iPads instead. However, I do love sports, specifically soccer so I signed up for what is called
The Digital Economy Package on 3/19/2014. Ever since then, I have been unable to watch La Liga from Spain on the BeInSport network and have been tossed around between the TV and internet departments. I've been told to wait 24 hours before services are and full channels are added to my account. 48 hours later, someone in the video department ran a patch that solved this issue and finally gave me access to BeInsport, ESPN3, the whole Sports Tier package along with CNN on my iPad and other Mac devices. That said, I was happy watching these channels until today, 3/25/2014 when I got the prompts that CNN or BeInsport is NOT part of your subscription -- the same error I got since I signed up until they resolved it on 3/21/14. I've called several times today, 3/25/14 and again, have been transferred between the TV and internet departments and several hours later, I'm still waiting for a resolution. The sad part is, none of Comcast's departments seem to talk to each other despite the fact that my user info is shared across the board. Similarly, I was issued 2 different ticket numbers tonight with the first one being rendered as "resolved" after the internet rep transfered me to a tv rep only for the tv rep to habd me again to another internet rep after she realized that she can't help me.
This is ineptitude at its best and I never beleived the complaints I've heard and read regarding Comcast service but I'm starting to be convinced.
