How to abort?
Is there a problem with XfinityStream...I can log on but I cannot see any channel pics...nothing is showing. When I try to click on a channel nothing happens...
This is not a question. This is a fact I just ran across & hope it helps someone.
OK this is what I did. No this will not solve the problem for everyone. BUT this did it for me. More educated programmers will have to ask why. First here are my system specs. Simple PC & OLD. 4 G ram, 2.8 i7 Pentium, Fans, old graphics, Netgear C700-100NAS router.
I had been using a DDNS that stopped working. I have Xfinity of course & was using NoIP.com for a DDNS. The Beta sw for Xfinity gave me the above error for apparently no reason to me. I changed it back to let Xfinity assign me one, changed the Netgear Genie Software in Advanced Tab to uncheck the DDNS in I believe the Administration section. May be the one under it though. I rebooted the router. Now the Beta software is back running like it was. It was only the Xfinity Streaming Channel that did not work. Everything else on the ROKU 39100 worked, EVERYTHING.
I will go back and change the settings to use DDNS again. BUT this is a fix for a problem that is way over my head. Check it out and see if it may help you or someone else that is getting this error message. Also, I reinstalled the software 4 times, read thru reddit, read thru Xfinity & finally read thru ROKU's forums with absolutely NO HELP WHATSOEVER !
I made this very abbreviated post to give you a positive answer to a problem that has been going on since at least 2016 from the forums I read. I will be cross posting this to the other forums as well. Send me any questions you may have. I am no engineer and my opinions are my own. But maybe something I did can be used to solve this mess permanently.

Any network sites or apps that validate through XFINITY (HBO Go, Disney, Cartoon Network, IFC, etc) have suddenly been logged out on all of my devices (Apple TV, iPad, laptop, desktop), and when I attempt to re-activate them I either get an error message that indicates the network is not included in my current Xfinity TV service or get redirected to the page on Xfinity to add that network to my service, even though in all cases the networks ARE included in my service and are currently showing on my TV.
(I tried to initiate a chat with support regarding this, but when I submit the form it generates the error message "Phone Number is not a valid phone number," even though there is no field to enter a phone number.)
how do I record programs on my TV if not on recordings with Xfinity?
I am and I have been unable to download content recorded via my X1 box over the past week to my iPad. It worked sporadically a few days ago but the last two it simply times out and Returns the “could not create download” error.
Separately, I am unable to stream any of said content—not just on my iPad but on my laptop or phone, too. I now receive the #3305 error when trying to do so. The recordings will play from the box. I have 7 World Cup matches that I recorded and this is the issue with all of those recordings.
I have the most recent version of the app on my iPad and 20GB of free space.
I was using a windows 10 laptop and tried both Chrome and Internet explorer
In the app on my iPad I have:
logged out of app and back in
hard restarted my ipad
logged out of app, removed it, downloaded it again
tried via my xfinity WiFi, wifi at work, and via 4G LTE phone hotspot
bandwidth test on home WiFi via speakeasy was 80Mbps
all to no avail. I’m leaving the country in a few hours and I’d hoped to download several matches to watch.
this is pretty frustrating.
the video quality for these "HD" recordings is bad. Its always bad. Ive seen shows that aired 15 years ago that are better quality on netflix, amazon, hulu etc. It also doesnt matter if you use the digital dvr or streaming on demand, the xfinity streaming service just has VERY poor video quality and im on the highest tier of internet access they offer. I can stream multiple 4k HDR streams at once with no issue via xbox live and the quality us amazing but a single stream via this site is full of artifacts, just poor quality in general, the colors are off and so is the contrast. PLEASE improve the quality of this service
Its been this way for months and months. If my wife didnt use it to watch a scant couple shows I would have canceled it. A PAID service should not have worse video quality than YOUTUBE
Cannot get access to watch saved programs on my computer or iPhone app the last couple of days that I've tried it. I get this message:

i keep clearing everything an the error 001 wont go away. what to do?
1 I can not finish the currenr sign in information for the website, I do not have a cell phone that takes SMS messages. I do not even know what that is. I am retired and have very little use for WIFI or its cost. We do have a cheap cell phone but it only does calling.
2 I can not change my password, the page just keeps repeating and never changes it. This happens when I when my email client can not get my mail and it may be a good thing. However nothing tells me there is trouble unless I turn on the TV.
3 Not a website issue but something strange about a provided service. Nomorobo blocks calls from Comcast,. even calls from Comcast online Chat employees.
I can no longer set a program to record on my xfinity stream. Anyone know why?
